I've been licensed as a counselor in the State of Nebraska since 1997 and obtained my Independent licensure in 2015. I've had extensive experience working with adults, children, and teenagers from various walks of life helping them through the challenges of Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Grief, traumatic history and abuse.
My clinical experience began working with families in a domestic violence shelter in Omaha. I've also worked extensively with grief and loss, supporting children and teens as well as young adults through the elder years at Hospice. I counseled children in school settings and worked with their families and school staff. I am trained in PCIT, a relationship and parenting skill-building intervention for young children and their families. Before moving into independent practice, I worked with a private group practice at Prairie Psychological Services in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
